PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A suspect who had already fled from troopers twice before was arrested after leading them on a third high-speed chase.

Arizona DPS said the driver had a device that hid their license plate with the push of a button.
Troopers spotted the suspect’s vehicle while on patrol Friday. They recognized the driver from two previous incidents where they allegedly fled at criminal speeds.
While attempting to stop the driver, they took off again. DPS said the driver hit speeds over 130 mph.
One trooper figured out where the suspect was headed and moved toward their neighborhood. When troopers tried another traffic stop there, the suspect jumped out of the car and ran.
Troopers chased the suspect to their home, where they barricaded themselves inside.

At first, the suspect looked like they were going to come out peacefully, but then they tried to run back inside. Troopers were able to arrest them before they took off.
The suspect now faces charges for the previous felony flight incidents, felony flight from this incident, criminal speeding, reckless driving and driving under the influence. Their identity has not been released at this time.
