Brandy Miller, 48, was sentenced last Wednesday, May 13, to nearly 12 years in prison for conspiracy to distribute meth. Once her prison sentence is complete, Miller will spend another five years under supervised release.
Federal investigators say Miller was working with a Mexican source who supplied meth to Omaha, Nebraska, and Council Bluffs, Iowa.
On Aug. 30, 2024, Homeland Security Task Force investigators set up a controlled sting operation. According to federal documents, investigators had someone place a drug order with the Mexican supplier, who then told that person to meet up with a courier.
Later that day, authorities say Miller showed up at the agreed-upon location in Omaha and handed over a pound of meth. The whole thing was recorded, and Miller was arrested shortly after.
