Popular public pool in Tucson closed after broken glass found

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A popular public pool in Tucson has to be closed after glass was found at the bottom of it.

The Tucson Parks & Recreation Department said Udall Pool, located at 7200 East Tanque Verde Road, was closed and won’t reopen until Friday, May 22, at the earliest.

The TPRD said the pool had to be drained and cleaned thoroughly.

13 News has reached out to the city to find out if it knows how the glass got into the pool.
