GREAT FALLS, Montana (KOLO) – A Las Vegas man has been sentenced to more than two years in prison after being convicted of stealing more than $59,000 in coins and precious metals from a shop in Montana.

47-year-old Bishop Lott will serve three years of parole after he is released and will pay $276,000 in restitution.
He pleaded guilty to one count of interstate transportation of stolen property in January of this year.
The DOJ says that Lott, alongside Ricky Rynell Rose, broke into Wayne Miller Coins and stole $58,629 worth of coins and precious metals. Rose pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 39 months in prison.

The Helena Police Department got a call on March 3, 2024, saying that the coin shop had been burglarized earlier that day.
An investigation linked Rose and Lott to the crime and determined that they had taken the stolen material to Nevada.
