New wildfire burns on Mount Kimble

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Crews are responding to a new wildfire burning on Mount Kimble.

The Coronado National Forest said the Ventana Fire began on June 14 at 7:36 p.m.

The fire is burning on the southeast side of the mountain, and the size is unknown.

The CNF said that due to weather conditions, air support has been unable to fly. Firefighters will work through the night.
