TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Another day of triple-digit heat, breezy afternoon winds, and increasing moisture. Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine today, with shower and thunderstorm chances developing this afternoon and evening. Models suggest Tucson has a better shot at seeing showers today compared to yesterday, while Santa Cruz and Cochise Counties are more likely to see the greatest impacts.

Moisture continues to build into the first day of the monsoon, bringing another round of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. We dry out Tuesday, then moisture increases again Wednesday and Thursday. Hot, mostly dry conditions look to return heading into next weekend.
