PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A teen boy is dead, and no suspects have been found after a shooting in west Phoenix overnight Tuesday.

Just after midnight, Phoenix police were called to a shooting in a neighborhood near 83rd Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road. Officers say a 17-year-old boy was shot and unresponsive when emergency crews arrived.
Officers began life-saving treatments until Phoenix firefighters arrived. The teen was then rushed to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Authorities have not released the name of the victim.
Arizona’s Family witnessed two neighborhood streets and a park taped off, along with evidence markers scattered around the playground.

No arrests have been made. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS, or 480-TESTIGO for Spanish speakers.
