PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two dogs were revived, and four people are without a place to live after a fire tore through a west Phoenix home Sunday night.

Just before 10 p.m., first responders were called to the fire on Leodra Lane, a neighborhood street near 51st and Southern avenues.
Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the home and used hoses to put out the fire while searching the house, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
While searching inside, firefighters found two dogs suffering from smoke inhalation and carried them outside. There, crews used “Fido bags” — oxygen masks designed for animals — to resuscitate the pets before they were taken to an animal hospital for further treatment.
No people were inside the home during the fire, and no one was injured, fire officials said. However, four residents were displaced because of the damage.

Fire investigators are working to determine what sparked the blaze.
