ATLANTA, Ga. (ANF/Gray News) — Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish pleaded guilty Tuesday in connection with a DUI case in Atlanta.

The Emmy and Grammy winner will not serve jail time, but her Georgia license will be suspended. The negotiated plea also sentences her to 12 months on probation and requires her to complete a DUI course.
Haddish was arrested in Peachtree City in 2022 after police got a call about a driver asleep at the wheel on a highway, according to the Associated Press.
She went to trial after a motion to dismiss the case was denied.
In 2023, Haddish was again arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The comedian was detained in Beverly Hills after police said she was found slumped over the wheel of a car while the engine was still running.

Haddish is best known for her role in “Girls Trip,” “The Kitchen,” “Night School” and “Like a Boss.”
In 2018, Haddish won an Emmy for her appearance on “Saturday Night Live” and a Grammy in 2021 for her special “Black Mitzvah.” She has also written a New York best-seller, “The Last Black Unicorn.”
