TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Deep moisture residing across the region will result in scattered showers and thunderstorms across Southeast Arizona with the potential for heavy rain the next few days.

Most of the storms will produce between a half and one inch of rain, the stronger storms are capable of producing locally heavier amounts between 1-3 inches.

Today – A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 1pm and 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 94. Calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight – A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 11pm and 2am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. South southwest wind around 6 mph becoming east southeast in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Thursday – A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 95. South southeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm.
