TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A driver and a 3-year-old child died in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near Vaily on Friday, July 3.

Arizona DPS said the accident happened on I-10 eastbound near milepost 291.
DPS said a person driving a sedan crashed into a semi-truck that was slowing down due to road construction.
The driver of the sedan and a 3-year-old in the vehicle were killed. A 6-year-old in the sedan was taken to a Benson hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The road was shut down for several hours overnight before reopening Saturday morning.
