TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Authorities said a drunk Willcox woman crashed into the back of a school bus full of kids on Wednesday, Sept. 9.

The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office said the 37-year-old woman, who has not been named, was cited and released on charges of DUI, reckless driving, and driving on a suspended license.
The CCSO said she crashed into the back of the bus as it was stopped to let students off near North Fort Grant and North Ingram roads.
The bus had its emergency lights activated, and the stop sign extended at the time, according to the CCSO.
The suspect was transported to Northern Cochise Community Hospital before being transferred to a Tucson hospital.

The CCSO said the children on the bus were not seriously hurt, but some had to be evaluated after complaining of minor headaches and dizziness.
The students were cleared and released to their parents.
