SURPRISE, AZ (AZFamily) — Two people are hospitalized following a crash involving a UPS delivery truck late Friday morning in the West Valley.

It happened just after 11 a.m. on Mountain View Boulevard near Reems Road in Surprise. Police say both drivers were taken to a hospital, but it’s not clear how badly they were injured.
Video from the scene shows a Mercedes SUV with severe front-end damage and a UPS vehicle with heavy damage to the rear passenger side.
Detectives are investigating what led to the crash.
Mountain View Boulevard was closed in both directions between Reems Road and Colonnade Way, but reopened shortly after 2 p.m.
