TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – For the third time in a day, there is a wildfire burning in the Santa Catalina Mountains.

Around 8:30 p.m. Monday, a 13 News viewer called to report a new fire on the mountain.
We checked one of our Cummings Plumbing Heating & Cooling weather cameras and confirmed a new fire was burning in the Catalinas.
According to the University of Arizona Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences camera, the fire started around 7:50 p.m.
We have reached out to the Coronado National Forest for more information.
On June 14, the Ventana Fire started near Mount Kimble. It was around three acres and likely lightning-caused. The CNF said there were no flames, smoke, or hot spots.

On June 14, the Table Mountain Fire started near Pima Canyon. It was around three acres and likely lightning-caused. As of Monday night, the CNF said there were some small hotspots, but crews were taking care of them.
