TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A man was killed after walking into a spinning propeller at the Marana Regional Airport on Saturday, June 13.

According to the Marana Police Department, Eduardo Hernandez was killed. The 40-year-old from Tucson worked for SkyDive Marana, located at 11700 Westg Avra Valley Road.
DEADLY MARANA PLANE INCIDENT: According to the FAA, on Saturday the aircraft landed and was parked at a ramp when an employee exited and walked into the running propeller, killing them. While the investigation is ongoing, the MPD said there are no signs of foul play, and it appears to have been an accident.
According to an FAA report, Hernandez walked into the propeller of a Cessna 208B after the plane landed around 4:26 p.m.

The worker was part of the crew for the aircraft with the registration N93EX.
According to the FFA registry, the registered owner of the plane is Marana Tactical Flight, LLC. The company is based at 634 West Paseo Norteno.
