Record start to Monsoon in Tucson

Moisture is sticking around and will continue to result in scattered mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms across much of southeast Arizona. It then mostly focuses from Tucson south and east for the remainder of the work week. Breezy afternoons with temperatures near normal through the forecast period.

Next chance for rain will be on Wednesday.

Tonight – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 76. West northwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday – Sunny and hot, with a high near 105. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph.

Tuesday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 76. Northwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
