Fourth of July celebrations, especially fireworks, can scare pets.

PACC and Friends of PACC are working together to help pet owners plan and prepare for the holiday.

From now until June, owners can get pets microchipped for free at the PACC and Friends of PACC locations.

Owners can also pick up a free identification tag for their pets.

PACC will also be rolling out a new foster incentive. To make room for the higher number of strays coming in over the holiday. Anytime during June 25 to July 8, foster volunteers can earn $5 per day and up to $70 total for fostering medium and large dogs.
