The crash happened shortly before 7 a.m. at 67th Avenue and Camelback Road in Glendale.

According to Glendale police, a northbound pickup truck was approaching the intersection as a southbound SUV was making a left turn to head east on Camelback Road. As the light turned red, investigators say both vehicles continued into the intersection and collided.

The pickup truck rolled over, ejecting the woman who was driving. She was rushed to a hospital with injuries considered serious but not life-threatening, police say.

Video from the scene shows an SUV and a pickup truck with extensive damage. It’s unclear if the other driver was hurt.
