Investigators said Kendra Lenae Harrison, 25, was riding south on 27th Avenue when a driver turning left onto Yorkshire Drive, south of the Loop 101 freeway, hit her just before 9 p.m.
She was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
According to police, the driver saw the light turn green and thought it was a green turn arrow, but the arrow was still red.
The driver stayed at the scene and was not impaired, police said. The driver’s name has not been released.
