Man accused of running retail trafficking enterprises across Arizona sentenced

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A man has been sentenced for his role in two separate retail theft and trafficking enterprises across southern Arizona.

Alexander Dantzler was sentenced to eight years in prison and 14 years of probation. He must also pay $140,000 in restitution to Walmart.

Dantzler was said to have targeted Walmart stores in Graham, Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz, Maricopa County and Yavapai County.

The Arizona Attorney General’s Office Retail Theft Task Force said Dantzler stole more than $140,000 worth of merchandise.

Dantzler pled guilty to two counts of organized retail theft, three counts of trafficking in stolen property, two counts of fraudulent schemes and artifices and two counts of illegally conducting an enterprise.
