TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Tucson Fire Department made a swift-water rescue early Thursday, Aug. 13.

The TFD said crews responded to the area of Silverbell and Sweetwater Drive at 2:22 a.m. after an off-duty Arizona DPS trooper spotted a vehicle in the wash.
Crews extended the ladder across the water and helped the victim to safety.
No injuries were reported.
Our 13 News crew reports the road reopened at 7 a.m.
