TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Rio Rico man has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for drug and money laundering charges.

34-year-old Hugo Jesus Munoz pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl and conspiracy to launder monetary instruments.
The United States Attorney’s Office said that Munoz is accused of drug conspiracy for distributing 4 kilograms of fentanyl and 3.5 kilograms of meth through the mail.
Munoz is accused of committing money laundering for having the $105,000 in drug proceeds distributed into his personal and business bank accounts from his customers.

Munoz has been sentenced to 60 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release
