MOBILE, Ala. (WALA/Gray News) – A Homeland Security Investigations special agent was arrested on multiple charges, including rape and sexual abuse.

The Spanish Fort Police Department in Alabama said that Kent Blacklidge turned himself in to the Baldwin County Jail on Sept. 5.
He was charged with multiple counts of rape, sodomy, sexual abuse and more.
Officers confirmed his status as a special agent, but said he was placed on administrative leave at the start of the investigation.

Police did not say what started the investigation, but more information is expected to be released within the coming days.
