TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Extreme Heat Warning goes into effect tomorrow and lasts through the workweek for portions of Southeast Arizona. Temperatures will linger around 105° for the Tucson Metro Area during that time period. Major and Extreme Heat Risk will be present for much of Southern Arizona. Highs stay well into the triple-digits even through next weekend.

Rain chances have recently increased for tomorrow, but still remain rather low. Tucson sits at 10% chance of rain during the day tomorrow. Better chances exist to the southeast, but still just around 20-30%. Some gusty winds with brief heavy rainfall are possible. Better and more consistent rain chances return late workweek and into the weekend.
