TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Extreme heat brings dangerous conditions to our region once again today. An Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect through the weekend, with highs nearing record levels. Saturday—the first day of August—could bring historic heat, with a chance to tie or break the all-time August monthly temperature record.

Saturday will be the hottest day of the weekend before temperatures dip slightly next week. Rain and storm chances will also return Monday through Thursday.
