13 News obtained the interim complaint, showing that on October 8 three teens were riding their bikes on the river walk near Craycroft when they encountered 34-year-old Landale Brown. The document shows he gave them a thumbs up as they rode past.
The complaint states one of the teens realized his bike’s battery was low so they turned around. When they approached Landale, the document shows he stepped into their path and grabbed one of the teens off of his bike. The teen was going fast enough, according to the complaint, that it flipped twice causing an estimated $2,800 in damage.
The document described that the teen fell and hurt his knee. Landale then grabbed the teen by the throat and held him against a railing for 20 seconds. That teen told authorities he had trouble breathing and had a mark on his neck.
