PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — Newly released police body camera and home surveillance video provide a firsthand look at the moments Peoria police officers arrived at a home where a couple was killed and took their son into custody.

Jonathan Turk, who called 911 on March 31 and admitted to killing his parents with a hammer and knife, is scheduled to stand trial in early December.
Ring doorbell video obtained by Arizona’s Family shows Turk pacing back and forth outside the family home after placing the emergency call. When Peoria police officers arrived at the scene, Turk dropped face-down onto the ground without speaking and allowed officers to place him in handcuffs.
Body camera video shows officers clearing the backyard and lower level before pulling on medical gloves and heading upstairs, operating only on the information provided during Turk’s confession to 911 dispatchers.
As an officer climbed the staircase to the second floor, he discovered Fraser Turk dead on the stairwell.
“There’s no pulse or anything?” one officer asked.
“No,” another replied.
Officers continued to search the upper level, where they found Tina Turk dead inside the master bathroom. Paramedics were then called to officially confirm the deaths.

Throughout the blurred recordings, officers can be seen maintaining composure and taking deep breaths as they processed the scene.
A 300-page police investigative report obtained by Arizona’s Family showed that a knife and hammer were used in the attack. Separate surveillance footage released by police shows Turk at a local Walmart earlier that day purchasing the hammer used in the killings.
Turk faces two counts of first-degree murder.
