TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Noah Fifita and the University of Arizona opened the season with a 35-7 rout of Northern Arizona at Casino Del Sol Stadium in Tucson on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Fifita passed for 262 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Wildcats (1-0), who will travel to play BYU next week.
Kedrick Reescano ran for 48 yards and 2 scores for Arizona.
The Wildcats’ defense forced 1 turnover and held the Lumberjacks to only 193 yards and 8 first downs.

Ty Pennington passed for 180 yards for NAU (1-1), but had 1 interception.
