‘Star Wars’ and ‘Powerpuff Girls’ actor Tom Kane dies at 64

(Gray News) – Tom Kane, a voice actor best known for his work on “Star Wars” and “The Powerpuff Girls,” died.

According to TMZ, Kane died Monday at a hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. His cause of death was complications from a 2020 stroke.

“Though his voice may now be silent, the characters, stories, and love he gave to the world will live on forever,” his representative told TMZ.

Kane was the voice of Yoda in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and the voice of Professor Utonium and HIM in “The Powerpuff Girls.” He also voiced characters in video games, including the “Call of Duty” franchise.

Kane is survived by his wife and nine children.
