TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Expect drier conditions today with temperatures slightly warmer than yesterday. Residual moisture keeps a slim chance of showers and thunderstorms in the forecast, with better chances for mountains east of Tucson.

Temperatures will continue to climb this weekend, with triple-digit heat returning on Sunday. An Extreme Heat Watch has been issued from Monday morning through Wednesday evening due to dangerous conditions. Monday through Wednesday will be First Alert Weather Day’s. Midweek through the end of next week, daily shower and thunderstorm chances will begin to increase.
