Pamela Anderson said her son, Spc. Sayveon Anderson, 25, was last seen on Fort Bragg. Since his disappearance, she said there has been no contact — no calls, no texts.
“It’s straight to voicemail. Yeah, I call it every morning,” Pamela Anderson said.
Commander’s message prompted concern
Pamela Anderson said the silence began the same day the Army reached out to her.
“His commander had sent me a message, and she was like, you know, ‘Good morning, ma’am. Have you heard from your son? Have you spoken to Sayveon today? Well, he didn’t show up for formation,’” Pamela Anderson said.
Mother drove to Fayetteville to search
Sitting in Charlottesville, Pamela Anderson said she felt she had to act. She drove to the Fayetteville area with her brother and sister-in-law to check her son’s apartment.
“I got there. I went to the door. My heart was pounding because I’m just praying: let him be hiding out in here,” she said.

When no one answered, leasing staff at the complex instructed her to call police so they could check the apartment.
“They searched it. They was in there for a while, and they was like, ‘No, nobody’s in there,’” Pamela Anderson said.
Family awaits baby shower, birth of first grandchild
Sayveon Anderson is a 2019 Charlottesville High School graduate. His mother said he was married in December and is expecting his first child — a baby girl due in August. A baby shower is scheduled for this Saturday in Charlottesville.
“I miss you so much, chocolate bear. Such a beautiful person. I just want you to come home safe,” Pamela Anderson said.
A spokesperson for the Third Corps Sustainment Command said both the military and law enforcement are searching for Anderson.
