TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – America’s 250th birthday is cause for celebration, and lucky for us, there are a ton of ways to celebrate the Fourth of July in southern Arizona.

FRIDAY 7/3

FC Tucson’s 3rd of July Extravaganza

FC Tucson will have its own Fourth of July festivities, but on the third. Along with a soccer game, attendees can also enjoy deals on hot dogs, discounted Tecates, new USA merch, and of course, post-match fireworks.

Tickets to the event start at $18.

When: 7:00 p.m.

SATURDAY 7/4

Red, White & Zoo

Spend the Fourth of July at the Reid Park Zoo. The zoo will be having a variety of Independence Day specials such as a military discount, North American animal shows, and a free American Flag for the Zoo’s first 250 guests.

Where: The Reid Park Zoo

When: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Fourth of July Water Slide Party

The Hotel Congress is hosting a Fourth of July waterslide party. The party is part of their no-skip summer event series and will feature a 15-foot waterslide, giant Jenga, cornhole, live music and more.

There will also be a 21-and-up after party with DJs.

Tickets to the party cost $17.70

When: Main party at 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., after party at 10:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

PACC’s Stars, Stripes and Stories

The Pima Animal Care Center is holding its annual Stars, Stripes and Stories event. Attendees can read to shelter animals to help calm them down amidst all the Fourth of July chaos.

The event is free but registration is required and can be done on their Facebook page. Bring your own books and chairs!

Diamonds in the Sky

Celebrate the Fourth of July with an evening of baseball. The Kino Sports Complex will be hosting a night of America’s favorite pastime. Attendees will watch a game featuring players from two all-star teams from the Sun Belt College League, partake in family-friendly activities, enjoy ballpark snacks and see a postgame fireworks show.

Admission is one nonperishable food item to donate to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona or a $1 donation.

When: 5:30 p.m. – 8:45 p.m.

Tucson 4th of July Bar Crawl

Celebrate America’s birthday with a bar crawl around some of Tucson’s hot spots. This 21 and up event will give you access to multiple bars, discounts on drinks, specialty cocktails and live music.

Tickets to the event cost around $24.

Where: Begins at Bison Witches

When: 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

SUNDAY 7/5

Red, White and Brew

The Hacienda Del Sol is hosting their 10th annual Fourth of July celebration. Attendees can enjoy a night of barbecue, beers and live blues music and dancing.

Tickets to the event cost $85 and include buffet access.

When: 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
