Expect plenty of sunshine and cool morning starts, then a quick warm-up by late morning. Afternoon breezes stick around through the weekend and into the workweek. The dry heat and breezy conditions are keeping Elevated Fire Danger around.

Sunday also marks the start of astronomical summer. The summer solstice arrives at 1:23 a.m. MST, when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky—making it the longest day of the year. Tucson will see 14 hours and 16 minutes of daylight, with sunrise at 5:17 a.m. and sunset at 7:33 p.m.
