TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Tucson man has been accused in the death of his 5-month-old daughter earlier this year.

33-year-old Ramon Pride Kin Jr. was indicted on charges of first-degree murder and child abuse on June 17. He was released days later after posting the $500,000 bond.
According to court documents, Kin’s daughter died May 9 after becoming unresponsive in the family’s home. He allegedly has three other children.
Doctors said the child died after suffering a brain bleed and had multiple skull fractures, a bruise on her head, and a brain laceration.
The girl also had rib fractures that were healing, meaning those injuries could not have happened the same day she suffered the head injury.

Medical experts said the head injuries were not consistent with a drop/fall and would only happen with a “very significant amount of force.”
During the autopsy, previous brain injuries were found.
