PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man has been arrested in connection with a deadly stabbing in Phoenix.

Traquan Munson, 25, is accused of stabbing Lonnie Shepherd Jr. outside a restaurant on Saturday near 24th Avenue and Thomas Road.
Officers with the Phoenix Police Department were called to reports of the stabbing on Aug. 15 just before midnight and found Shepherd with serious injuries from a stab wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives said it appeared Munson and Shepherd were involved in a fight that ended in the stabbing.

Munson was identified as a suspect and arrested on Aug. 18, officials said. He is facing a charge of second-degree murder.
