WASHINGTON (CNN) — President Donald Trump said people who do not support the creation of the White House ballroom are “very disloyal to our country.”

“The people that are opposing the ballroom are people that, in my opinion, are very disloyal to our country, very, very disloyal to our country,” Trump told reporters Monday.
Trump also pledged to release a list of private donors for the ballroom project.
Officials previously released the names of some of the corporate donors, including Apple, Amazon, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, Google, Coinbase, Comcast and Meta.
Trump’s promise to release a donor list comes as his administration prepares to argue the ballroom’s importance to the Supreme Court.

Lower courts have called on the White House to stop construction. They said only Congress can approve changes to the White House grounds.
The president has argued the ballroom is needed to keep him and future presidents safe.
“We also are getting tremendous military protection, drone protection. The building is drone proof. It’s missile proof, as much as something can be missile proof. It’s totally bulletproof. Any bullet, nothing can go through the windows. We have all top-of-the-line stuff,” Trump said.
