TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – For $100, you can reserve a ticket for the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, entering for a chance to win a new home while supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s mission to treat and research childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

About the Tucson Dream Home
Tucson’s Dream Home is located in Arcadia by Fairfield Homes in Catalina. The three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home features a three-car garage, panoramic views of the Catalinas, picture windows with multi-slide doors for indoor-outdoor living, 10-foot ceilings and custom closets.
Close to a million dollars in time and materials were donated by dozens of southern Arizona vendors.
The home is valued at more than $950,000.
Where ticket money goes
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, based in Memphis, Tennessee, covers the cost of food, travel, housing and treatment for families of patients — at no charge to those families. That model was established by the hospital’s founder, entertainer Danny Thomas.
“Each ticket helps ensure no family has to pay for food, travel, housing, or treatment — that was the vision of the founder, entertainer Danny Thomas,” a St. Jude representative said.
Matisha, the mother of a patient named Nova, said the hospital has become a second home for her family.

“It has become home for us from the staff to the housing to every department here at St. Jude. It has literally become our home,” Matisha said.

More than 40 cities across the country host a St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway. Additional prizes will be available throughout the ticket sales period.
The Dream Home Giveaway will be held live on Nov. 18.
