TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Tucson Police Department is searching for a suspect after a man was shot and killed early Sunday, Aug. 23.

The TPD said officers responded to an apartment complex near Irvington and Calle Santa Cruz shortly after midnight.
Officers found 32-year-old Juan Amarillas Espinoza shot in the parking lot.
He died at the scene, and no suspect was found.
The TPD says the details of what led up to the shooting remain under investigation.
Anyone with any information about this is asked to call the Tucson Police Department or 88-CRIME.
This is the fifth violent crime 13 News has reported on in a week. In those five incidents, five people have been killed, and another was injured.
On Aug. 17, 33-year-old Eddie Lopez was found shot to death near 29th and Craycroft in Tucson.
Since then, 18-year-old Angel Francisco Valenzuela and 19-year-old Derek Walker Poff were arrested on charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery, and discharging a firearm within city limits.
On Aug. 19, 23-year-old Carlos Ramirez was found shot to death in his home in the 7700 block of South Enchanted.
Ramirez, a Tucson Police recruit, and his pregnant fiancée, a current PCSD corrections officer, were injured in the home invasion.

The PCSD said it obtained a first-degree murder arrest warrant for 33-year-old Alex James Barnett in connection with the shooting.
39-year-old Santiago Jorge Rogers was later arrested on charges of first-degree murder and aggravated assault while a third suspect was located and questioned.
On Aug. 19, 31-year-old Enrique Bringas-Galaz was found stabbed to death near Speedway and Euclid.
The TPD said 50-year-old Ramiro Regalado was arrested on a second-degree murder charge three days later.
On Aug. 21, 39-year-old William C. Fitzgerald was shot in a car that crashed near Cardinal and Bilby in Pima County.
The PCSD said Fitzgerald died from his injuries days later and that authorities are looking for the suspect.
