TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Pima County man has been sentenced after stealing more than $100,000 from Home Depot.

The Arizona Attorney General’s Office said Francisco Fuentes was given 6 1/2 years in prison and probation for seven years. He was also ordered to pay more than $101,000 in restitution to Home Depot.
On July 23, Fuentes pleaded guilty to two counts of organized retail theft, one count of theft and one count of illegally conducting an enterprise.
Arizona AG Kris Mayes said Fuentes committed hundreds of thefts from Home Depot stores across the county.
“Organized retail theft raises prices for everyday shoppers, and puts store employees at risk,” Mayes said. “My office will continue working with local law enforcement and retail partners across Arizona to identify these schemes and hold offenders accountable. I’m grateful to the Oro Valley Police Department and Home Depot for their assistance in building this case.”

Mayes said the Oro Valley Police Department worked with the company’s loss prevention division to identify Fuentes.
