BULLHEAD CITY, AZ (AZFamily) — Authorities have identified the innocent man who was killed in a crash during a police pursuit early Monday morning in northwestern Arizona, and several teenage suspects are now in custody.

The crash happened after a Bullhead City police patrol supervisor saw a vehicle speeding on Hancock Road around 4 a.m. and started a pursuit, according to police. The vehicle reportedly kept going south on Highway 95 toward Fort Mohave and out of sight of police.
Officers later saw the vehicle heading north on Highway 95, sparking a second pursuit. Police say the driver again refused to stop, and the vehicle swerved into opposite lanes and hit another car head-on about 2 miles away from the Arizona-Nevada border, killing that driver.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) on Tuesday identified the driver who was killed as 32-year-old Jeremy Matthew Miller of Kingman.
Five suspects are in custody in connection with the crash, DPS said.
The driver was identified as a 15-year-old boy from Redlands, California. DPS said the teen was booked for first-degree homicide, two counts of unlawful flight, a weapons misconduct violation and a felony parole violation warrant from the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections.

The passenger, 18-year-old Matthew Josiah Silvas of Kingman, will be charged with first-degree homicide, but DPS said more charges are possible.
The other suspects, all juvenile residents of Kingman, will be charged with possession of stolen property and for being runaways.
DPS is still investigating the circumstances of this crash.
