CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — Juvenile patients at a Chandler behavioral health facility were arrested following two separate disturbances in less than 24 hours, police say.

Chandler Police responded to Oasis Behavioral Health, near Arizona Avenue and Warner Road, twice on Saturday — first in the early morning hours and again that evening.
Early-Morning Chaos
Officers were first called to the facility just after 1:30 a.m. after several patients reportedly pulled the fire alarm and tried to leave the building, according to the Chandler Police Department.
Police say they helped staff return patients to their rooms, but were called back about an hour later when another fire alarm was pulled.
When officers couldn’t restore calm, they deployed pepper balls to regain control of the situation.
Five patients were ultimately arrested for allegedly assaulting each other and a facility supervisor. A sixth person faces a resisting arrest charge.
Trouble Returns
Things settled down until 7:30 p.m., when police were called back to the facility. Juvenile patients had reportedly pulled the fire alarm again, caused damage, and tried to escape.

With a large number of patients out of their rooms, neighboring law enforcement agencies were called in to help.
Officers were eventually able to regain control, and one person was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
No one was hurt in the second incident, and no officers were hurt in either.
Police described those arrested as juveniles, but exact ages were not released.
The Chandler Police Department says it is working closely with Oasis Behavioral Health to strengthen security at the facility with proactive patrols and increased staffing.
