SURPRISE, AZ (AZFamily) — A motorcyclist died after a crash in Surprise on Monday, according to officials with the city’s police department.

The crash happened at the intersection of Bell Road and RH Johnson Boulevard. Westbound lanes of Bell Road are closed and will be for several hours, officials said.
The motorcyclist was possibly speeding and allegedly failed to “obey a traffic control device,” officials said, leading to the crash.
