TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Flood Watch has been extended through tomorrow night ending at 10pm for some areas of Pima County including Sells and Tohono O’odham Nation, but NOT for the Tucson Metro Area. As a result, we will add another FAWD for tomorrow due to the extended Flood Watch and more elevated storm potential. Even though Tucson isn’t in the Flood Watch for tomorrow, we still sit at a 60% chance of storms during the day and 40% at night. So, more storms are likely. Monsoon activity drops midweek but picks back up into next weekend. The extreme heat has ended! We’re headed down into the low 90s for Monday and then we’ll linger around average (98°) for most of next week.
