One Camelback, which sits at the corner of Central Avenue and Camelback Road, is now open to current and future residents.
The 11-story building faced years of financial setbacks and issues from previous owners. Kinella Capital purchased the converted office building last year for $36 million, and construction began in January, transforming the once-vacant building into luxury apartment rentals.
The tower is now made up of 163 units and has quickly become a hot commodity for renters. Officials say 20% of the building has already been leased — though renters have not yet set foot inside their new homes.
One Camelback offers studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units, ranging from 532 to 1,898 square feet. However, some units come with quite a hefty price tag.
Studio apartments start at $1,675 and range up to just over $2,000 per month. One-bedroom units start at $2,200 and can reach up to $4,100. Two-bedroom units cost between $3,700 and $6,200.
For those with deep pockets — or who want sweeping views of Camelback Mountain and the Phoenix skyline — three-bedroom units run between $8,000 and $10,000.

Each apartment includes smart-home features, Samsung appliances, quartz countertops, wood-style flooring and full-size washers and dryers. The massive building also houses a rooftop pool and spa, lounge areas, cabanas, grills, a fitness studio and a resident clubhouse.
The first floor includes 11,000 square feet of retail space. EverSpan Health, a membership-based healthcare company, is building a health optimization center within the tower. More retail and business tenants are expected to be announced in the coming months.
