LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ (AZFamily) — It’s been more than 30 years since the body of 48-year-old Jean Andrae Brady wasfound in the desert near Lake Havasu City, and her case remains unsolved.

Now, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit is hoping for new leads that could help solve her murder.
Brady’s body was discovered on June 25, 1995, in an off-roading area of Standard Wash. She had been shot to death, according to the sheriff’s office.
Despite several interviews during the investigation, including with her ex-husband, detectives were unable to identify a suspect in her murder.
The sheriff’s office is asking the following people to contact its special investigations unit at (928) 753-0753 ext. 4408:

- Anyone who knew Brady
- Anyone who knew her associates in Lake Havasu City in 1995
- Anyone who has information about who may have had cause to harm her
- Anyone who may be a relative of Brady
Detectives are also hoping to find a relative so they can return Brady’s personal belongings, which were discovered during a search of a storage unit she had been renting.
Brady did not appear to have siblings or children, according to the sheriff’s office. Her ex-husband died in 1996. Her parents were Robert Curtis Patterson of Chicago, who died in 1969, and Doris Jean Massman of Missouri, who died in 1979.
It’s believed that Brady’s extended family may be living in Missouri or Kansas.
