TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Hot conditions this week with an Extreme Heat Warning in effect today through Friday for portions of the Southeast Arizona.

Isolated thunderstorms are expected today along and near the International border in south-central and southwest Pima county.
Increasing storm coverage and intensity expected for Wednesday and Thursday across southeast Arizona with strong gusty outflow winds the primary hazard along with locally heavy rainfall.

Today – Sunny and hot, with a high near 104. Calm wind becoming south southeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight – Mostly clear, with a low around 81. Light and variable wind becoming east southeast 5 to 8 mph in the evening.
Wednesday – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5pm. Sunny and hot, with a high near 105. Light and variable wind becoming north northwest 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night – A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Patchy blowing dust before 7pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 81. North northeast wind 11 to 16 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.
Thursday – Sunny and hot, with a high near 105. Calm wind becoming northwest 5 to 7 mph in the morning.
