KINGMAN, AZ (AZFamily) — A commercial driver’s failure to stop in time cost a motorcyclist their life early Friday east of Kingman, authorities say.

Troopers responded just after 1 a.m. to a crash on Interstate 40 between Kingman and Seligman, about two and a half miles west of the Mohave and Yavapai county line.
When troopers arrived, they found the motorcycle engulfed in flames and the motorcyclist dead at the scene, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Troopers say the commercial driver was cited for failure to control a vehicle to avoid a collision after rear-ending the bike.

Neither the motorcyclist nor the commercial driver was publicly identified. It’s unclear if the commercial driver will face charges.
