TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A gas leak at Marana Middle School caused students to temporarily shelter and bus operations to halt on Aug. 26.

The Marana Unified School District said a garbage truck accidentally damaged a gas line near the cafeteria, causing a gas leak.
Students and staff were relocated to the library, and incoming buses were redirected to Ora Mae Harn Park.
Crews were able to quickly cap the gas line and normal school operations resumed.
