TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Cooler today but not cool. Highs continue to trend down through Tuesday but still staying above-normal and in the triple-digits. Unfortunately, rain chances have been decreasing in the forecast. 10% chance of rain tonight in Tucson with better chances near the International Border. 30% chance of rain in Tucson tomorrow night which is the best chance we have in the 7-day. Still, better storm potential tomorrow remains to the south. Strong to severe wind gusts, brief heavy rain, and blowing dust are the storm threats. We’ll have that very brief cooldown before back around extreme heat territory late next workweek. We’ll be watching for an Extreme Heat product to be issued within the next few days.
