TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Tonight remained mostly inactive with just a few storm cells over Cochise County. More widespread rain and storm chances are around tomorrow afternoon/evening that will push more westward into the Tucson area. We’ll need to watch for some strong to severe winds and more heavy rainfall. Rain chances lower this weekend then pick back up next week.

For temperatures, highs continue to increase the next few days leading to some areas of Major Heat Risk as highs sit at and above 105 in Tucson. Temperatures fall next week likely finally below the triple-digits and much closer to normal.
